Welcome to Ridgewood Elementary! Nestled in Southwest Rock Island or referred to as Rock-Milan, Ridgewood is truly a one-of-a-kind place and serves students from Rock Island and Milan. The school, built in 1971, recently celebrated its 50th Birthday!

What makes Ridgewood the best in Rock Island is the entire school community. Traditions such as Fall Frolic, Monster Mash, Holiday Program, and Lunch on the Lawn are just a few of the traditions where family and staff come together. Families are invited and encouraged to serve on the Building Leadership Team (BLT) and Parent Teacher Group (PTG).

While working together, Ridgewood takes pride in strengthening our core values with our stakeholders:
- Working together with families to build trusting relationships between students, staff, parents, and all stakeholders.
- Prepare and empower students to take responsibility for their continuous improvement.
- Embrace and celebrate our school's diverse backgrounds and cultures.

We invite you to see for yourself why Ridgewood is THE best school in the district!
